Dino Gomez here and you are listening to the Secrets of Coaching podcast, where we break down the nuances of growing a seven-figure online coaching business and we are about to get started in 3 2 1. That’s when I started this episode off by saying that you are absolutely crazy if you don’t think you can do this. And I’m going to prove it to you in today’s episode. If you are listening to this podcast and if you listen to these episodes, you know, consistently, I want to start by saying you are a badass, you are a go-getter, you are a visionary, you are an action taker.

You are doing all the things. You’re educating yourself with all the information. And that is awesome. That is step one. That is what 99 percent of people don’t do. Right. Think about friends and family and so forth that are not entrepreneurs. Most people go through life and they go, hey, I finished college and I’m done learning like myself. Development is now done. I get to just hang out and collect a paycheck and, you know, live Groundhog’s Day over and over again.

So I want to start off by saying, you are crazy awesome for being in that one percent. You are already going against the grain, even if you haven’t launched your business yet. If you plan to write, you are freaking awesome. You’re in the one percent mindset-wise than everybody else. Right? Society tells us entrepreneurship is a big risk. Right. And so already, if you have plans to get started already if you’re up and running, you are in the one percent.

Right. And the reason I say that is because of what people do in the online space. Right, are we’re consistently comparing ourselves to everybody else out there. Right. And we’re always going, OK, why am I not going faster? How did they do this? How do they do this? And I was the all those types of things. Guys, you’re already freaking awesome if you have launched your business or if you plan to launch your business and you’re going to you’re already in the one percent in terms of your mindset, understanding that entrepreneurship is the best vehicle to freedom.

All right. I notice I said freedom, freedom and fulfillment, and happiness. That is what entrepreneurship is about. That is what ultimately provides. All right. There will come a point in time you become successful enough where literally like you, you have enough money. So you stay in the game for the freedom, for the happiness, for the fulfillment that it provides you. And so that’s freaking awesome. All right. And so the reason I say this oftentimes is that, again, our mindset is crucial.

It’s key. It’s not the end all be all. And this is one of the things I’m going to rant and rave about in the short episode to date. Again, we’re going to keep the episodes shorter and punchier moving forward. But I hear so many people the same mindset. You just need to figure out your mindset. And I like to respond to them rhetorically in my head and say, really, if you only need the mindset and sit with your mind for 60 days, don’t touch your computer and let me know how much your online business growth mindset is one piece of the puzzle.

All right. There are many pieces of the puzzle that go into a successful business. You have to also have great messaging. You have to have a great stance. You have to have market positioning. In other words, how are you different than your competition? You have to have the right offer, the right price in the right program, delivery, all those different types of things. All right. The right lead gen sauce. You have to have traffic and or leads coming into your business.

And you also have to learn how to close clients as well as that’s sales. So the mindset is one piece of the puzzle that is a strategy as well. And then taking action. All right. And so the mindset is a big piece, though. It is a big piece. And it’s not the only piece. It is a big piece now. So I want to talk about this. You’re crazy awesome. Right, in so many different ways. And so I want to ask this rhetorical question you that this is a question I asked our clients recently.

I asked our clients recently. I was like, hey, Isaac, can you guys just let’s go around the room here. Why don’t you guys why does everybody take a moment and share with everybody else? What’s something you’ve done in your life that was scary or crazy and in hindsight was the best decision you’ve ever made? All right. And so I asked this question in, oh, my gosh, the responses we got were insane. Right?

I think about it. If you have children right now, that’s a miracle in itself. That’s unbelievable. Right. There’s no instruction manual on how to raise a human being. All right. And so the fact that you’ve already done that or are currently doing that is remarkable. Right. And so if you have kids. Right, and at any point in time you’re, you know, struggling with your mindset, whether or not you’ll make it as an entrepreneur, whether or not you can continue to do this if you have kids, that is probably the craziest, toughest thing in the world to do, is raise kids without an instruction manual.

They have their own personality like we’re in a kind of an interesting day and age as well. So that is freaking badass. So if you’ve done that, why can’t you grow your coaching business rhetorically? Ask yourself that question. Like, I’m raising a kid, I would say is a thousand times more difficult and I don’t have kids, but I just imagine so. Right. And but I asked that question rhetorically to our clients and the responses we got were insane like people.

I love learning. About our clients, you know, beyond just what they’re doing in their business, just them as individuals, it’s so cool. So we have clients of all different ages, all different countries. One gentleman is in his mid-70s. All right. So talk about a badass mid-70s and he’s launching his coaching business. He’s spent previously the previous 40 years in corporate America. And then he retired. And he’s like, no, I don’t want to just sit around and be retired.

He’s going to launch my coaching business. So super, super badass guy. Cool, cool guy. And so his story was what I was taking flying lessons in his and he’s from Australia. He’s a guy I was taking flying lessons with. And I think he said, if I remember correctly, that his buddy was was the pilot instructor and was teaching him how to do it. And so he did several lessons and so forth. And then without knowing, one day he goes back in for another lesson.

He gets in the plane, he’s in the driver’s seat, and his pilot instructor and or his buddies in the passenger seat. And then they start the plane up and then his buddy gets out of the plane and closes the door and says, hey, I’ll be right back and grab something. And he’s got his headset on. And then once his buddy gets out of the way of the small airplane is buddy, you know, messages and radios into his headset and say, hey, you are you’re going to fly solo this time you’re ready.

And so he wasn’t prepared for that. He thought it was going to be another like, you know, training with a copilot. Right. That’s experienced in case anything goes wrong. And his buddy says, nope, you’re ready. Like, you need to take, you know, take the plane up in the air and land it. You’re ready for this. And so he went ahead and did that. Right. But he said he was just, you know, he was freaking out.

Right. Like, oh, my gosh. Because he didn’t he didn’t know that this was the day. And he said he didn’t feel ready. But then the last and his instructor said, no, you are ready. So he went ahead and did that. And so it’s interesting to see him be reminded of that story. Right. And as soon as he was done sharing that story, I asked him, I was like, so why?

Like, how could anything else be difficult to you when you remind yourself of that story? Like, that’s crazy. I would be freaking out if I don’t like heights to begin with. But if I’m up in the air and one of these tiny little airplanes and have a few flying lessons, that’s crazy. Right? And so as we went around the circle and the mastermind and all these crazy stories, you know, a couple of members about how they fought in the war in Iraq and bullets flying past their head and doing all these amazing things and how they, you know, had to pick people up and carry them or bandage up a really bad gunshot wound and all these things.

Right. And gruesome situations. And it’s I remember talking to one of our clients who’s done super, super well, and he served in the military. And before he got started, he’s like, I’m not sure I have the qualifications to be an online coach. And then he shared we went deeper and he shared with me that he had served in Iraq. And you know, he had these certain missions that he was on. And I was like, dude, you that’s so much earlier what you did there.

That’s amazing that you served in Iraq. And, you know, he was a gunner on top of a tank. And so he’s like the main target. Everybody goes for the gunner on top of the tank. And so, I mean, it’s just remarkable. So it’s like our mind is so powerful in that it can convince us because we’re doing something new, even if it’s just sitting in front of a computer wiggling our fingers, that this is scary because it’s unfamiliar territory.

But just make sure you remind yourself how awesome you are. Right. My question for you to think about, right, is to spend a moment. And if you want to write this stuff down, it’s a great exercise. Write down all the cool, awesome things you’ve done in your life and remind yourself how much of a badass you are, because I guarantee you you’ve done some crazy, awesome things that were super scary at the time and everything turned out OK.

All right. And use that as fuel to remind yourself that this is just a grown and online business is really just sitting in front of a computer typing the right things and saying the right things on video like that. In a nutshell, that’s what it is, whether you’re talking to clients are doing the marketing side of it. And so you’ve done crazy things before, my friend. Remind yourself of that and do that again. All right. You will be fine.

Hey, guys, Dino Gomez here and you are listening to the Secrets of Coaching podcast, where we break down the nuances of growing a seven-figure online coaching business and we are about to get started in three to one. So, guys, we’re going to talk about a client interaction, all right, where literally our clients had ten thousand dollars sitting in her lap and she didn’t even realize it. She was about to go on vacation.

She told me, you know, I want to land a ten thousand dollar client before I go on vacation so I can enjoy my vacation with my friends and my family. How do I do that? And I’m going to tell you exactly what I told her. All right, guys. So a client comes to me, right? And she’s like, you know, I’m going on vacation in about two weeks with my family. She’s like before that vacation.

And, you know, she already has her coaching business off the ground and has clients and things of that nature. and she has testimonials and stuff and she goes, I really want to land a ten thousand dollar client before vacation starts so I can enjoy the vacation and just totally unwind with my family and not be thinking about the business at all. And I was like, awesome. I was like, let’s do this. I was like, what questions do you have for me specifically?

Right. And she goes, Well, I just don’t understand. I haven’t had anybody recently reach out to me and express interest in, you know, my premium ten thousand dollar offer. And I was like, OK. And she’s like, so I don’t know what to do. She’s like, normally clients will reach out to me. Her prospects will reach out to me. She’s like, but none of them have recently. And I was like, OK.

And so this is what I asked her. I said, Well, have you offered to have you gone to your audience yet and offered them your 10000 dollar offer. OK, have you made it clear that you have a ten thousand dollar offer available to them and that this is what you will do with them inside of that offer? And her response? She’s so funny. She’s awesome. She like her response was like, no.

And she’s like, damn, I don’t know why I didn’t think of that. And I was like, no, that’s super normal is like because you’re busy running your business day to day things like you have your family and, you know, we’re busy, right. Oftentimes. And that’s why it’s so important to have a mentor, a coach. Right. Oftentimes we’re so close to the thing. We don’t even see the thing right. How many people here have lost their cell phone and it’s been in your pocket or been in your hand?

It happened to me the other day. All right. And so it was in my pocket and I couldn’t find it right. And I was wearing new shorts and they had the stretchy new material. And it’s kind of a different fit than I’m used to. And so I just didn’t feel the phone in my pocket. So I asked my wife, I was like, where’s my phone? I was like, have you checked your pocket? It’s always in your pocket.

And I was like, Oh yeah, it is. My pocket feels it. New shorts. And so that happens all the time. Right? We’re so close to something, we don’t even see the opportunity there. We don’t even see the thing there. We don’t even see the client right there. And so and this example, our client inside of seven-figure visionary. Right. She wanted the ten grand clients and she forgot to actually go to her audience and say, hey, I have one spot available for this special offer.

And so it’s not as easy as that guy is. Don’t just I don’t want to you know, again, I don’t want to just misconstrue the entire situation. She didn’t just turn around and go, I have this ten thousand dollar offer and it was sold. And there is more to it than that. Right. What we did is we sat down, we helped her reposition this ten thousand dollar offer to make it really, really irresistible. All right.

And then we worked with her to come up with all the marketing content for promoting this offer. All right. To the different emails and the different posts to put out on social media and all the different things. So we worked with her. Our copywriter worked with her and we crafted all this material and edited it and did all the things to make it really, really sharp. And we laid out a game plan for what was going to be a two-week marketing campaign or a ten-day campaign to land this client.

And on day number either seven or eight, she landed her ten thousand dollar client again. So there were other pieces involved. So I don’t want to just misconstrue that. That’s all you have to do is just turn around and say that. But right. The solution was right in front of her eyes. Right. But again, we’re oftentimes too close to things. I couldn’t find my cell phone and it was in my damn pocket. All right.

And in the past as well with one of my mentors, you know, I was at a point in my coaching business where we had our Facebook ads program. So this was several years ago. I was working forty hours a week, which is how many hours I like to work. I take weekends off and sometimes I work weekends again. It depends what season I’m in, but normally I take weekends off and in our business was growing. It was continually growing, but then all of a sudden it plateaued for a second.

And so I went to my coach and I was like, we, you know, basically like a month and a half we’ve been at the same revenue before. Prior to that, we were growing like a week over a week. I was like, what’s the next move to do? Amount of time and he’s like, oh, it’s simple, he’s like, you just need to raise your prices. He’s like, raising your prices will increase your profit margin.

You’ll have more profit margin, then turn around, hire a support coach that can run your weekly group coaching calls, answer questions, and your clients have in your group that will free up your time. And and and what that will also do, you charge you more, will allow you to add to make your program better because you’ll have more times than you can record videos. You can offer additional one V one calls to your clients. You can do other things to make the price warrant, the price increase has merit.

And so I was like, oh my gosh, that sounds so simple. And he’s like, yeah, he’s like I mean, it’s going to take you, you know, it’s going to be work to find the right person and to hire them and to train them and those types of things that won’t happen overnight, but that’ll solve the issue. And so I wasn’t perfect. So really short 10-minute conversation solved the issue. But that’s the thing of having a great mentor that very quickly they can they because of their experience, they go, oh, this is what you do, like X, Y, Z.

And then from there you just go and execute and you might have follow-up questions and so forth. But oftentimes, guys, the thing that we are looking for is right in front of us. We just don’t see it. And that’s why we all need a second set of eyes on our business, because, again, if I would have tried to figure that out by myself, I could have lost three months, five months banging my head against the wall, trying to figure out how we grow.

At that point in time. I might not have come to the conclusion that we just raise our prices like I hadn’t done it before. So I didn’t know to think in that manner. Right. Once you’ve done it, once you go, oh, that’s you know, that’s the trail. that’s the trail to get to the top of the mountain. So I just want to share that one with you guys quickly, because whatever you’re experiencing in your life, whether it be personal, whether it be health, whether it be relationships, whether it be your business, the solution might be super, super simple.

You’re just so close to it, you can’t see. And that’s why you go to an expert or somebody else who gives you that second set of eyes and go, oh, do you just do these couple of things right? And it saves you massive time, heartache, all the different things allow you to continue to grow and or solve that problem or issue quickly. And that’s it. That’s it, guys. It’s ten grand can be sitting in your lap, so make sure you hire the right coach.

It doesn’t have to be us hire somebody who has experience so that they can find those opportunities for you as well. We call those profit levers. So that’s it for this episode. Hey, guys, Dino Gomez here, founder of Seven Figure Visionary, and in today’s video, we are going to walk you through four different ways to spy on your competitors Facebook ads, including their targeting and their funnels, using a couple of different awesome softwares. Let’s dove into it right now. All right, guys.

So we’re over here at my computer. The first way to actually spy on your competitors Facebook ads. You guys are probably more familiar with this one than will work into some new cooler strategies that utilize actual softwares. But whenever you see a Facebook ad on your actual feed, you can always click on the three dots that are next to the ad and you can click on Why am I seeing this ad? All right, so why am I seeing this actual Facebook ad?

What is going to pop up here, guys, is all the information on who this particular business is targeting. We can see folks ages 23 to 57, the location of where they’re targeting. And if they’re including any interest as well, Facebook will include that. So if they’re to an interest based targeting, that will be included here. So you can actually see who this advertiser is targeting. Of course, because we’re seeing this ad directly in our news feed, we can actually click on the ad, take a look at this individuals or this companies funnel. So if this is a competitor ad, you can click and see what their actual funnel and their offer is. All right. If you’re not getting served ads by your actual competition and you want to do all you really need to do is visit their websites and visit their actual Facebook fan page. And most likely they will end up retargeting you with their advertisements for which you can then start to spy on what their targeting is or otherwise spy on what their actual ad is as well as their funnel.

Right. So that’s the first way, guys. You guys are probably familiar with that.

The second way, guys, is using Facebook’s actual ad library.

So this is just Facebook.com/ads/library. This isn’t the most this isn’t the best way to search for Facebook ads. For example, I can type in Gym here and Facebook.

Technically, you would think they would show you all the different Facebook ads that are running that have the keyword Gym or that are actually related to gyms. But as we can see, the results are kind of hit or miss. Newsbreak isn’t an actual gym Persay body. Juice is kind of related. And as we scroll down, you actually will see some advertisements from gyms and so forth and you could actually see their ads. But obviously this has nothing to do with the gym.

And so it’s really not that it’s really not that great of a tool, which is kind of surprising since it’s Facebook’s own collection and library. All right. So now we want to move on to third party tools. All right. That in softwares that actually work to spy on competitor Facebook ads. So, all right. So we’re going to hop on over to this one. The first one, it’s called Big Spy. That’s big spy.Com. This is a free tool to use with limited functionality.

If you really want to get into it, you need to upgrade, but you can mostly get the job done using this tool for free. So, for example, I typed in chiropractor here.

We can filter ads by the platform Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, AdMob, Twitter, Pinterest and so forth. There are some kind of drop downs if you decide to actually upgrade and so forth, if you want to filter by language and device type and also the date range here.

But as you as you can see, we typed in chiropractor. And as I scroll down, we’re actually getting related ads from chiropractors. All right.

So we see chiropractor, ad chiropractor, ad wellness center, another wellness center. You can see there’s a chiropractor there. So these ads are actually more relevant and more accurate than Facebook’s own library, which is kind of cool right now. As you can see down here, you need to sign up to the software if you want to, like access more actual advertisements there.

So that is an option for you guys. If you guys want to check this out, there are links in the description. For the most part, you can get an idea and get some cool ideas what to do for your advertisements just by using a couple of their first initial search results. So that is called bigspy.Com. Very simple to use. The other one that I’m a huge fan of is called adspy.com. This one actually has way more functionality than big spy.

All right. So let’s take a look at this, guys. We can filter by ads that are running by gender when the date they were actually created. The technology is the countries where they’re running, when it was seen, the ages that they’re targeting. So, again, we can get very, very specific with the types of ads we want to filter. Now, one of my favorite functionalities is this. We can even function function by the actual advertiser.

So the advertiser user name.

So, for example, I typed in Russell Brunson, the founder, or one of the co-founders that click funnels.

And what’s so cool about ads spy is that it actually is showing us results from past ads. So they actually their software saves the advertisements even if they’re no longer active.

Right now, this is different from Facebook.

If you go into Facebook’s library or if you go in to Facebook’s news feed is only showing you active current ads.

What if I want to see what Russell Brunson was running in twenty nineteen? Right. This ad is from twenty nineteen. We can see how long it ran going can actually take a look at the ad.

This ad here is also from 2019.

So I’m scrolling through ads that were created years ago and I’m able to take a look at what copy they use, what videos they use, what graphics they use, all those different types of things, how many likes are on the actual ad and so forth where this ad was running in Italy? I can see here it’s in Italy.

So ad spy gives us a ton more functionality because we can actually go back in time to spy on competitor Facebook ads. See if their funnel is still active and just take a look at their ad copy and all of their ads. Again, I can come up here and I was just filtering by the name Russell Brunson.

So if you have a particular competitor you want to look at maybe a campaign they run in the past, you can type in their name here and take a look at that. All right. So I’m just going to go ahead and delete this and reset this. But again, you can you can actually target by the site type as well, which is really cool. All right. So you know where they’re actually running these placements, the media type here, if you want to look at just videos or photo ads, gender, when it’s created between technologies, which is kind of cool if they’re if they’re actively using any of these types of softwares.

So that’s really cool. We can see some email marketing software is in there that perhaps they’re using on their landing pages. But we can really get very granular and specific if they’re doing e-commerce and they’re on a specific platform, we can look at that. This is just a really powerful way for us to look at that. Even click funnels. We can look at ads and filter by ads where people are using an actual click funnel funnel. This is amazing.

If you’re in the coaching space, say, or any type of lead-gen space, for that matter. But there’s just a lot of different functionalities that we can filter by even the button type to see what you know, what the ad copy is for certain buttons that people are using their advertisements. Really, really powerful stuff, guys, and definitely put this to use. All right. So there you guys have it. Four different ways to spy on your competitor Facebook ads, including a couple of cool different softwares and tools that allow you to get very specific and granular with the actual Facebook ads that you’re looking at for your competition, including their funnels.

They’re targeting their ad copy, all of that cool stuff. It’s all right here.

Hey, guys, Dino Gomez here, founder of Coaching Launch, as well as the seven figure visionary. And in today’s video, we’re going to be breaking down how to build an online coaching website. Let’s get into it right now.

All right, guys, how to build a coaching website. We’re going to walk you through two different free resources that you can use so you can decide which platform is best for you. Let’s head on over to my computer and we’ll dove right into this. All right, guys. So to build a coaching website, you have a bunch of different options in the marketplace, which is probably why you’re here. I’m going to run through this very quickly and directly.

Squarespace, that’s kind of designed for business owners of all sorts, not just the coaching space, but any type of business owner. You can come here. They have templates. You can quickly build your website. They’ll also allow you to send emails and do some other things. So Squarespace is an option for you. It is affordable, makes it easy to actually get started. You don’t have to be any type of Web designer or anything like that.

But honestly, my favorite option right now is convert kit. You can tell by the name convert kit this platform, the software is designed to help you convert. Right. And that’s ultimately what we want. We want to convert our audience actually into clients. Right. And so I personally would recommend going with convert kit. You can see on the pricing page, it’s actually free to sign up. You have basically all the features that you need. You can send email broadcast, you can create landing pages, forms and you can collect payment.

All right. So you can sell digital products and subscriptions, which is exactly what you want as an online coach. All right. You can go ahead, click to sign up for free. There is a link in the description to both Squarespace and convert kit again. I would recommend a convert kit because I’m more about conversions than actually just website templates. So I would go with convert kit from the get go so you can sign up in the description.

It is free. You’ll see what the actual dashboard looks like. It’s pretty simple. You want to send emails, you’ll click on broadcast. You can see how many subscribers you have. Convert kit is free until you have a thousand subscribers and then it’s like twenty something dollars a month, at which point you’ll probably be making a lot more than that if you have a thousand subscribers. So it really is a good deal. But we’re going to do is we want to build our coaching websites, we’re going to click on landing pages of forms and they’re going to give us different data here.

This isn’t going to apply to you until you actually have website traffic, how many visitors you have, and how many actually leads you have as well. So that’s kind of cool. They give you that that data here. You’ll click on create new ads. You’re going to have an option here. You’re going to want to choose landing page. So we’re going to build an actual landing page. You see, they actually have templates, OK, for you to choose from so you can choose the template that you like the most that is kind of the most suitable for you as you scroll through these different options.

I am going to choose this one. OK, so it’s going to click on this one here. It’s going to load up for us. And really quickly, guys, you’ll see how easy this is. So it’s basically a drag and drop, Ed. All right. And again, it is designed for conversions. Right? And so that’s what you want your website to do. You don’t want people to go there and browse and leave. You want them to go there and you want to capture their email address, capture their information.

That’s why I love convert kit. This is so easy to do. So right here, you kind of have your call to action. So you know how I quit my nine to five job and started an online business. You can actually you can say whatever you actually want there, but this would be your actual headline there. And so again, drag and drop easy. You can click to change any of these features down here. I can click change this, I can change and upload the image here so I can replace that image with a photo of yourself.

You could say a little bit about yourself and so forth. But again, it’s very simple. It is a landing page. It is an opt in page. It is a squeeze page so that people only have the option of signing up to get more information. All right. Now, you can build this out if you so choose, add more pages to it and so forth. But I like the fact that this is just designed from the get go to convert website traffic into actually email subscribers and so forth.

I would go ahead and customize this and then boom, you can choose a domain name, you can do some kind of basic settings and things like that so you can be found at Google. But that way you can actually tell people, yeah, visit my website, here’s my website address. They can go over there, they can get some information about you. They can go ahead, subscribe to your email list. Boom, you’ve collected a lead.

Then you could actually send out emails to your subscribers. I would just come over to broadcast. I’m not going to do that in this video training, but you click over to broadcast again. There’s templates. It’s very easy to edit. You could send out messages to your email list. You can actually even create automated emails so that when somebody joins your email list, they are automatically sent a chain of email addresses. So, for example, I might if somebody comes to my website here or my landing page, I might send them a free PDF because that’s the promise.

I’m going to send them a PDF on how I quit my nine to five job and start an online business. OK, so very easy to do here, guys. Just make sure you always click, save and publish in the right hand corner any time you make adjustments here and you can click on Preview to actually see what the full website would look like here. So this is what it would look like in a matter of seconds. You actually have your coaching website up and launched.

All right. You can have that professional look and feel and now you have somewhere you can send traffic to. All right. So you can post this on your social media and your social media bios. You can use it as a. Lead magnets are on social media, you can actually say things like, hey, I just put together a free guide on how to leave your nine to five job and started all my business. If you’re interested, comment below on this feed and I’ll send you a link.

All right. So that’s what you always want to do on social media to get more comments and engagement. Have people actually comment beneath your post if they want your lead magnet. All right. That’s going to build up social proof. The other thing it does is it gives you more organic reach. So this is kind of we’re kind of get into it. Lead gen tip for you guys here in addition to building your coaching website. But that’s one of the things you want to do, because social media in general, these platforms, don’t like links in the post itself.

It limits the amount of reach because you’re sending traffic off of their platform. So instead, that’s probably why you’ve seen other people do this. They will say, hey, if you want this freebie, comment below. All right. So if you want this free training, if you want this free PDF, this free guide, comment below and I’ll get it to you. All right. And then just follow up with people that comment. Give them a link to your website here.

They’re going to hop on over to your website. They’ll opt in and boom, you’ve collected a lead. All right. So it’s that easy to do, but that’s basically it. Guys you can use against Squarespace to get started. You can take a look at their templates, decide if you like that resource. But again, I’m a huge fan of Convertkit. I think that is the best option here for a coaching website. And so that’s what I would use.

What’s going on, guys, Dino Gomez here, founder of Seven Figure Visionary, as well as the host of the Secrets of Coaching podcast on iTunes and Google Play. And in today’s video, we are going to walk you through the four simple steps to landing your first and our next coaching client.

So let’s start off with number one, step number one guys is you have to decide your niche. All right. It’s not enough just to hop on social media or to talk to friends and family and say, hey, I am a coach. Pay me money. You can imagine if you’re on the flip side of that, you’d be very confused in terms of maybe you’re even receptive to paying somebody money to coach you, but you’d be like, well, how are you helping me?

Who do you help and what’s your process in your system and so forth? Right. So that’s a little bit too big sort of step number one, guys, you have to decide what your coaching niche is. So in other words, that could be that you’re going to work in the niche of fitness. You know, it could be health, wealth, relationships, spirituality, love, attraction, you name it. There are so many niches out there, guys.

There’s actually hundreds and hundreds of coaching niches out there. If you need some help finding your coaching niche, I’ll leave a link in the description to a previous video we did that will help kind of brainstorm and help you get going with what your potential niche can be. All right. So after you guys have your niche guys, you now are able to say, I work in the niche finance or I will help you with your business. I work in the niche of fitness you have that’s kind of very broad, the niche that you’re in.

All right. So now we want to get a little bit more specific, which leads us to step number two. Step number two is the side and formulate your actual coaching message. So this gets more specific in that it’s going to explain who you help and how you help them. All right. So in other words, it’s not enough to say you’re a fitness coach. What you want to say is I help busy professionals lose 15 pounds in just 30 days or just there might be a little bit too fast.

Maybe in three months. All right. I help moms, shed baby fat right after they’ve had their first newborn child. All right. You want to get very specific with your message on who you help and how you help them and what you help them achieve. All right. So, again, another example of this in the fitness space might be I help busy CEOs lose 15 pounds before summer with just 15 minutes of exercise per day.

So very, very specific on who you help, how you help them. And so that is your message there, guys. And again, your message is so critical because this is one of the secrets actually landing coaching clients is is your actual message, right? When your message is dialed in, when it’s very specific. All right. People immediately feel more confident that you’re able to help them when you are speaking to your target audience.

So rather than being very generic that I help you lose weight or I help you land clients or I help you close more sales calls rather than being very broad, it’s like I help women, you know, double their sales conversions. All right. Using my three step process, you know, you’re very specific on who you help and what the outcome will be. And when you’re very specific in your message, people are very attracted to that, given that they fit in your audience and they know that you have a special solution just for them.

Right. So it’s always better to be a specialist than a generalist. All right. That’s exactly why brain surgeons make a lot more than just your general doctor. You always want to be a specialist. Your messaging basically exemplifies that you are a specialist, that you’re helping one particular individual achieve a very specific result. All right. And that becomes very, very desirable. All right. So that’s step two guys. You want to actually figure out, formulate your your coaching message that that takes your broader and makes it very specific.

All right. Step number three, you guys, once you have your niche and then you’ve got more specific and you have this powerful, captivating message that speaks to one individual, the third step to let in your first and our next coaching client is actually to go ahead and build an audience. All right. Now, building an audience doesn’t have to be as difficult as you would think it to be. What I would recommend at the time of recording this video is the best place to go ahead and build your your audience.

And this is kind of like your lead gene pool of where you’re going to get leads for your coaching business is on Facebook in particular. Guys, I would recommend using Facebook groups. All right. Now, get to that in just a second. The reason I like Facebook guys is just statistically your audience is going to be on Facebook. All right. And I’ve heard this before from a lot of coaches and consultants. I don’t think my audience is on Facebook, guys.

They’re most likely on Facebook. OK, look at the stats. It’s insane. Almost everybody is on Facebook. So your audience is certainly on Facebook. But with that said. Right, you might depend on who you’re targeting and so forth, you might find your audience on LinkedIn and Instagram and places like that. But again, the easiest place for like ninety nine percent of coaches and consultants to get started with is by building a Facebook group, because your audience is certainly on Facebook and a Facebook group has a lot of different features and benefits that some of these other platforms don’t have.

All right. So, for example, when you build your Facebook group, one quick tip I can give you guys right here. Right. If you want to go ahead and name your Facebook group something that is very specific and keyword rich according to the people in your audience that you’re looking to help. So, again, if you are working with Moms’. And you are helping them grow their business, you might name your Facebook group, the entrepreneurial mom community.

All right, has keywords in there like mom and entrepreneur. All right. And so what’s actually going to happen is moms that are entrepreneurs or aspiring entrepreneurs are going to find your Facebook and join that group. Right. The name of your Facebook group gives it away who it is that you’re helping and who this community is for. So naturally, right. The entrepreneur moms are going to join that group. You’re starting to build your audience inside of that Facebook group.

And that’s super important, right? Because we need an audience so that we have people to actually provide our coaching services to. Now, if you want more tips on how to actually grow your Facebook group, we did two separate video trainings step by step with all the cool set up features and all the cool things that you can do with a Facebook group to grow your audience. Check those links out in the description. But again, one of the reasons I love a Facebook group is that you also have the ability to ask questions to people who apply to join your group.

So in other words, not everybody. If you set your Facebook group up correctly, not everybody can join your group automatically. They have to answer a few questions first. And one of my favorite questions to ask people who are looking to join your Facebook group is do you want a free 20 minute phone call or a 20 minute strategy session? A 20 minute wait loss session? Do you want to free 20 minute find your purpose session? Do you want a 20 minute confidence booster session, whatever it is in terms of how you help people offering up a free 20 minute session where you will just consult with them with nothing for sale per say, but just give them pure value on this call is a great way to build a connection with your audience, a great way to get give them value, a great way to build rapport.

It’s also a great way for you to get market feedback. Now, often what happens when you do a free 20 minute session with somebody because of the law of reciprocity, this individual oftentimes feels indebted to you that you gave them 20 minutes of your time and gave them a lot of value in tips. And so oftentimes they are going to inquire about your actual coaching services. So it’s a great way to generate leads for your coaching business, to give value first and then have your audience and these individuals come back around and inquire more about your actual paid coaching services.

So, again, if you want more tips on how to grow your Facebook group, that will be in the description. All right, guys. And then step number four to land in your first and our next paid coaching client is to actually make an offer. Right now, this part can be scary for a lot of us if I go back in time three years, I remember making my first offer for my coaching program was absolutely terrifying. I wasn’t sure if anybody was going to respond.

I remember I posted my offer on social media and I think I posted it and deleted it several times. I was really worried that nobody was going to respond. But ultimately, at the end of the day, if this is something you want to do, you have to step out of your comfort zone. Right. And so I went ahead officially got my offer out there. And to my surprise, right, because I had built my audience up inside of my Facebook group, I had given value.

I connected with people. When I did make my offer, a lot of people jumped at it. And real quickly, I landed my first handful of coaching clients. And from there, the rest was history. But the main thing to understand, guys, is that people can’t buy things they don’t know are for sale. All right. And so you have to make offers to work with you for people to understand that there’s even an offer on the table.

All right. Now, oftentimes, people will be out there on YouTube or other different sources and so forth, and they will be providing value. And you’ll be like, this is really useful information. You don’t even know if they have a coaching program. If they have a consulting program, you don’t know the details of it. Is it group coaching? Is it one by one? You know, you have no idea that the offer even exists.

And it really even as being part of the audience, doesn’t even cross your mind until the offer is actually made. So really important, guys, step number four to land in your first and or next paid coaching client is to actually go ahead and make an offer. All right. And this is normally done after you’ve built some value and build some rapport with your audience. You can do those types of things by doing free training, by giving out tips and strategies, by demonstrating your expertize, by revealing statistics around the industry, by exemplifying that you really understand the pain points that your audience is experiencing.

You could also do this by telling personal stories in terms of, hey, I’ve been in your shoes before, I know what you’re going through, I know what you’re struggling with. And I was able to figure out a way to get out of this. Right. But you want to really connect with your audience, demonstrate you understand their pains, you know what their desires are, that you can help them, give them some free value. And then step number four.

Right mix in those offers, make it very clear that you have something available for sale to those that are interested and how, most importantly, how they should get in contact with you. All right. So oftentimes people miss that step. But we have to remember, folks can’t mind read our audience can’t mind read. So we want to be very clear. Hey, if you are interested in losing fifteen pounds before summer, right.
