Hey, Dino Gomez here and in this video training today, we’re going to walk you through how to start an online coaching business. Let’s get into it right now.
All right, so we’re over here at my computer, guys. We’re going to dive into why and how to start an online coaching business. Again, this is one of my absolute favorite online business models, guys. And so I put together a few notes that you guys, if you’re interested in this type, if you’re looking to start an online coaching business, basically you know exactly how to and why to and basically you can get started right away, which is awesome.
Right. So first off, let’s cover why online coaching business guys and why do I love this business model so much? Well, first off, there’s low startup costs. We’re talking under one hundred dollars to get started. There’s almost no business out there where it’s that cheap to get started. Right. Number two, you can work from anywhere, right. You can travel around the world and still have remote clients. You do not need to be coaching people in person.
And so that’s really, really nice. You get that freedom. The third reason, guys, high profit margins. All right. Your expenses, again, are going to be very, very low. So you have these massive profit margins where just a few clients. Right. And you’re already making two thousand – five thousand dollars a month is really, really awesome. Guys there’s minimal tech required. All right. So you don’t have to be some genius with all these crazy technical skills and know how to do amazing things on the Internet and stuff.
You can be a regular person who just has a skill set or a passion around business, around health and wellness that can be around wealth, all these different things. We’ll talk about niches in a moment. Fifth reason why you should start online coaching business guys is because you get to teach something you love. You’ll get to do something that you’re really passionate about and that makes it so it’s not work. It makes it so it’s really fun, really fulfilling.
I absolutely love shooting videos, teaching different concepts and strategies and techniques. And so I wake up every single day and I don’t know if it’s a weekday or weekend because I love doing this stuff. And so that’s a huge thing. I think we all want to do something that we love. It’s another reason to start an online coaching business. All right. Next reason, guys, is because you get to change lives and create massive impact.
All right. So you guys will see right here we have over three hundred reviews for our various coaching programs. And it is so awesome. Some of the testimonials that have come in. We’ve had people go from leave their nine to five job to making six figures a year. We’ve had people become millionaires. We’ve had people go from, believe it or not, suicidal to finally having the funds to put their children through college. There’s all these cool, different success stories you get to really get to know your clients on a on an intimate level and seen their transformation and helping them through whatever it is you’re coaching them on.
It’s just awesome. It’s really, really fulfilling. And so, guys, that is why the online coaching model is so awesome. Now, let’s talk about what you need to get started. And again, this is why this is so cool, guys. It doesn’t require much to get started. That’s the first thing, right? All you really need to run a coaching business. For starters it’s just a zoom account guys zoom. It’s free to start or otherwise, they’re pro versions like fifteen dollars a month.
All right. And you’ll use that Zoom account to meet and coach with your clients. All right. And so you can decide what type of program you’re doing. It can be one to many where you have you yourself are coaching dozens, if not hundreds of people at the same time. Or you might have one V one coaching services that you offer regardless. You can actually host these trainings, these meetings, these consultations, these coaching sessions on Zoom guys.
It’s a really that’s the only tool they technically need. Now, the next thing I highly recommend, too, is that you’ll want to have a private Facebook group. All right. Facebook groups are free. I’m sure you guys have seen them before. Very simple, but it’s a great area, an online network for you to collect all of your members. And that way you can drop off replays of trains with them. You can give them bonus strategies and tips.
But that way they have access to you on a 24/7 basis. So I’ll get a Facebook group, doesn’t cost anything to make. It’s very easy. I’ll pull up here, my computer real quickly, guys, and just take you on our inside one of our members, Facebook groups really quickly. And here it is. This is one of our programs, Funnel Consultant Society. This program actually helped me reach seven figures. And at this program, I should say, I did seven figures plus by itself.
You can see there’s eight hundred eighty six members in here. But it’s just amazing because so it’s just an awesome online community. People are posting every single day. People and members are asking questions. I can engage with them, give them instant feedback. We have a lot of other coaches that help with this program as well. So they’re in there responding to our members and so forth. But this is a Facebook ads program. And again, this Facebook group is super active.
People are always posting in there. And it’s an easy way for us to give kind of 24/7 support to our members and our community. And that’s exactly what you’ll want to do as well. All right. So the next thing that you’ll need to get started with an online coaching business, guys, is you got to have something to teach and to offer. All right. And in particular, what that means is that you need to have a problem to solve.
All right. People pay money if you can solve their problem. And so there’ll be another video on this channel on how to figure out what you should teach and how to choose your actual niche. And so if you’re having trouble, if you know you want to be a coach, but you’re having trouble deciding what niche you should go into, we have an awesome exercise in strategy called the personality matrix that will walk you through how to find not. Just a niche that you’ll love to work in, but a niche that will, you can prove is actually profitable, and that’s really important as well.
Otherwise, it’s not a business if it doesn’t make profit. It’s not a business. So that’s really important that you find that right niche. It’s a look out on our channel for that video. The next thing you guys are going to need is a program outline. All right. So you have to have a system and a methodology to walking your clients from point A to point B to for helping the past and through whatever problems they actually have. All right.
So that’s something that you’ll need to do, is sit down and actually outline, OK, how am I going to teach this and deliver this? And what steps sequentially do I need to deliver this information and so that my clients and my customers and my members are able to achieve the end result that they desire. Right now, that’s really crucial to have an awesome program outline. Again, there’ll be another video on this channel on how to put together an awesome program outline that will walk your clients from point A to point B so that they get results.
And guys, it is really important that you get results because that’s one of the top drivers of our coaching business. Surpassing seven figures is the fact that we have hundreds and hundreds of testimonials. And so it’s really important that you’re able to get your clients results because when you get your clients results, then they start telling everybody about you and that helps grow your business and your coaching business as well. All right. And then the last strategy, guys, that you really need to get started is a way to get clients.
All right. And that’s a really, really big one that we’re going to dive into further here. Here are several different ways to get clients and to get started. Right. And so you can go with friends and referrals. We’ll talk about that one. You can go at JV partnerships. That’s where you go and partner with somebody and they will recommend you to an audience that they have already built. All right. You’ll give them a percentage of your actual sales.
Number three, there’s networking events, guys, I’m not a huge fan of networking events, I think your time would be better spent and leveraged elsewhere, but that is an opportunity and a possibility for everybody, perhaps not during these times, because right now we’re in the middle of the virus while I shoot this. But otherwise, networking opportunities, generally speaking, are a potential strategy for getting clients speaking gigs. Another amazing way to get clients, but again, sometimes expensive, difficult to actually get yourself on stage.
So the ones I really like, guys, if you are just looking to get started right now is advertising and social media to get started to get your first coaching client, your first one V one coaching client. I recommend using your personal network. All right. So I’m talking about your friends, your family members. All right, go ahead. Reach out to them. Let them know you’re starting a coaching business and tell them that you’ll give them a kickback or that you’ll give them a finder’s fee, a referral commission if they send you a client.
And so your friends and family and people that you know in your circle, acquaintances, colleagues, people who went to college with and so forth, you ask them, tell them you’ve started a coaching business, tell them that you’ll give them a hundred dollars if they send you a client. All right. That’s a great way to get your first client on board. All right. After that, guys, because what happens is let me pull up an online whiteboard here.
And I love referrals. They work super, super well. And this might be you right here, this this actual stick figure, OK? And then you have a friends and family over here, and this might be your friend and they might actually go ahead and send you a client. All right. And that might be how you get your first client and B, how you get your first five clients after a certain point of time. Guys, this stops being consistent, though, and referrals are hit or miss.
Sometimes you’ll get a referral, sometimes you won’t. But you need a systematic way to acquire new clients. And so that’s what I want to talk to you about today, is, is those businesses and those coaches who rely on referrals, you’ll notice they have up and down months revenue wise. Revenue will go up one month because they’ll have a couple of new clients on board. And then if I go down the next one and then it might level out and then go down and up, it’s because they don’t know they can’t consistently count on how many referrals they’re going to get.
And so referrals are great to get started. But what you really need to think about is how am I going to consistently and mathematically always get clients? And so that’s what I want to talk about today, guys, because I absolutely love Facebook advertising, social media advertising. But before you get there and we’ll have more videos on that on this channel. But before you get there, I start with social media. And so what we’re going to do, guys, is I’m going to hop right on over into my social media.
I’m going to show you guys some ways to start generating prospects and building your pipeline, using Facebook in particular. All right. And so the first thing you guys are going to want to do, all right, in order to set yourself up to become an online coach is optimize your actual Facebook profile. All right. So what I’m talking about is your actual cover banner image right here. All right. You want your cover banner image to represent you in your coaching brand and you want to deliver a message very quickly on how it is you can help people, new Facebook friends.
All right. Because what happens is that when you become friends with somebody on Facebook, they’re going to go check out your profile. They’re going to stalk you. Right. And you want them to see that you’re a professional, that you’re a coach, and that you can help them. And that way they’ll always have in their mind, OK, I know you can help me get clients I know as a coach. And he could show me how to grow to six figures and then seven figures.
Right. I want people to know that. So it’s really important, right, that you have a professional looking display on your actual Facebook page, and I’ll show you why that’s important. All right. The next thing you want to do, guys, is think about the actual audience and who you’re wanting to market and serve to. OK, so again, let’s just say you decide you’re a coach and you’re helping people overcome anxiety. Maybe and maybe you just you pick that particular that niche, so to speak, because maybe you used to suffer from anxiety, figured out a way to overcome it, and now you actually want to help people with the same thing.
All right. So if if you were in a niche like that, you can go search on Facebook for groups of people that are already in that niche. So you might go find groups of health and wellness. If you’re helping in particular entrepreneurs with overcome anxiety, then what you can do is go find groups of entrepreneurs. Right. You’d come up here into Facebook and you can just type in entrepreneur, all right. And then you can click on groups.
Right. And like, here’s a group right here. All right. Seven figure coaches and entrepreneurs. That’s actually one of my groups. But you can click on groups and you can find all these groups of entrepreneurs right now. Why would you want to do that? Well, if your audience is entrepreneurs, you want to go find all the communities where your audience is hanging out. All right. And so I would hop into this group that has eighty thousand other entrepreneurs in it, and I would start sending friend requests to other entrepreneurs in this industry.
Right. And what’s the value of that? What you want to do, guys? The strategy, right is to send about twenty five to thirty friend requests per day to your perfect target client. All right. And so that’s entrepreneurs. You should be sending friend requests to twenty five to 30 other entrepreneurs every single day. All right. Don’t do it all at once because Facebook will block you. Just do a few every little bit while you’re on Facebook until it’s about twenty five or 30 a day.
All right. And the reason that’s powerful, guys, is because you want to build a community on your Facebook profile of potential clients. Right. And when you send those friend requests, what’s going to happen? Well, this is going to happen, right? People are going to click to see who is this guy to send me a friend request. They’re going to go. I want to see who sent him a friend request. And when they come over to your Facebook page, they’re going to see your cover image and your banner.
And they’re going to be like, oh, my gosh, he’s a coach and he helps me with anxiety or he’s a coach and he teaches me Ecom or he teaches me Facebook ads. Right. And they’re like, OK, that’s really, really cool. I want maybe I want to learn that stuff. Right. And the next thing they’re going to do is they’re going to start scrolling through your actual posts on Facebook. And so there’s strategic ways to post content on Facebook so that you attract clients to you and so that all of a sudden they start reaching out to you for help.
Right. And so I’ll show you guys a couple of posts. This right here I call an engagement style post. That’s basically where I’m asking my audience to engage with me. All right. These are strategic posts, that kind of hack Facebook’s algorithm, because you end up with a lot of comments on it. So, for example, there’s fifty three comments on this post. I ask people where they are planning to vacation. All right. Let me say another post, this post right here.
I started it off by saying, are you losing sales by not doing this? OK. And so I’m talking to my audience. I’m talking to my audience of marketers and entrepreneurs that need to attract more clients, but maybe aren’t that good at sales. And so I tell them a little bit of a story about how I helped one of my clients, Corey, and just three months add twenty thousand dollars a month in revenue to his business by teaching him a few different tactics.
All right. And so at the end of this, I said, hey, if you want me to teach you those strategies and coach you as well, reach out, get in touch with me, OK? And you can see this post has fifty one likes on it and 15 comments. A couple of people reached out and said, hey, please PM me. I want to learn more about your coaching program. All right. And so that’s one of the things you want to do with your profile here is post stories about your success or strategies and techniques and tips.
Give away free training on how to do something related to your coaching niche so that you become the perceived expert of that niche. Right. And what that will allow you to do is that when you actually make an offer and said, hey, I’m opening up my coaching program or I’m accepting just two new coaching clients, people will be interested in joining because they’ll have senior free content and they’ll know you’re an expert and then they’ll have been friends with you on Facebook.
And that’s the thing people like working with and people buy from others that they that they know like trust and relate to. And so if you’re posting content on social media consistently about your coaching business or how you can help them or about your family and travels and things like that, they get to people get to know you and like you. And when you make an offer, they’re more likely to become a client. All right. And so, guys, strategically, though, there’s certain things you want to post on Facebook and certain things you don’t.
Right. And what you say on Facebook will make a difference of whether or not you you sign clients consistently. They’re now one of the things that people get often incorrect is they think that more comments, more likes more social engagement equals more clients. They always think that more comments and stuff like that is good. Well, you can actually lose sales, but even if you have a Facebook post that goes viral, you can lose a lot of customers by saying the wrong things.
So it’s really important that you understand there is a strategy to posting on Facebook in this example post right here. I did a video and it’s basically me taking people over into my home office. And I show them how one of our coaching clients joined our program and then landed a client in ten minutes. I walked people through that because he sent me proof and evidence of him letting a client within ten minutes of joining one of our programs. And so I walked people through.
This is kind of a testimonial post. Right. But it’s proving to my audience and stuff like that that our strategies, so forth, work. If you don’t have clients yet, which you probably don’t if you’re watching this video, talk more about your personal successes and give away free trainings on little tips and bits on how people can accomplish the end goal that you would help them with. Another great strategy, guys, is I will walk you into it because there’s so there’s so many cool we have over one hundred different post templates to post on Facebook that will help attract clients to you and build your pipeline.
All right. And if you’re interested in that, check the link beneath this video. But we have an ebook that walks you through all the all the different strategies, the posts and stuff like that, that you can basically copy and paste, tweak it with your own spin on it will helped bring clients into your network, but this is really incredible to think two guys, one of the most amazing things you can do, right, is doing these other Facebook groups and ask questions and you’ll find a lot of your perfect fit, potential clients.
So, for example, in this Facebook group, all I asked was I posted this two sentence question. I said, who else is a small business owner? And Kali’s that thought I would bring us all together, write this post has one hundred and ninety three comments. So let’s just say I was wanting to work with and sign local clients. And again, my favorite thing about online coaching is that you can sign clients and work from anywhere. But if I wanted to work with clients that were local, I could post something like this. Let’s just say my audience is small business owners. I coached small business owners. I can say who else is a small business owner in Carlsbad? I thought it would bring us all together. Now look what happens. One hundred and ninety three comments. People are tagging their friends that are small business owners. And then if you go through all these different actual comments here, people are saying, yeah, I own a restaurant, I own a gym, I’m a chiropractor, I’m a photographer.
There are all these things. These are all people I can connect with on Facebook now. Right now, I know exactly what they do and I can take a look at their business and give them a free audit and show them different ways that I could help grow their business. Right. But what’s going to happen right when you post something like this, all of these small businesses are going to come over and say, who’s Dino Gomez? And I go to my profile.
They’re going to see testimonials of my clients getting results. They’re going to they’re going to know exactly who I am and what I do. They’re going to get to know me because I’m writing all these story posts and interesting information. They’re going to see free training videos that I give out about online coaching and growing a program and all these things. And they’re going to be like, wow, this is the guy I want to work with for growing my own, my coaching business or otherwise attracting more clients to my business.
All right. And so social media guys is the easiest way to get started after you’ve kind of maxed out your friends and referral list. As far as an actual timeline goes, normally, this is what I like to do here, guys, is you start with your referrals. I’ll say referrals here, Max, out that you’re going to want to move to social media. All right. And you’re going to start getting really good at posting consistently on Facebook.
And from there, you’re going to want to move into Facebook ads and social media ads. This is what the referrals and social media will get you started. And Facebook ads is what will explode your business later on as you kind of develop your skill set and things like that. Further, if you liked this training, be sure to go ahead, smash the subscribe because we have a ton of other videos. We’ll help you choose your niche. We’ll help you.

Go ahead and read that book and it’ll walk you through twenty one different posts to do consecutively 21 days in a row to attract clients into your actual network. All right.
